How the Government affects me throughout my day
I wake up in the morning and I go shower and clean up for a school day. The water that I get comes from the Department of Public Works. They control water use, and sewage and regulage them all (1). I than brush my teeth and groom; the toothpaste I use is checked by the FDA (2). After I do that, I get dressed and start driving to school. During the Fifteen minute drive there, the roads are managed by the DOT (department of transportation), who also make laws to punish drunk driving and everything else to help keep us safe (3). I stay at school for about 7 hours, and during that time the Department of Education controls what the schools should teach us (4). During school I use my tablet, and it requires energy. the Department of energy provides clean energy for my computer to use (5). Right after school I go change and I lift weights. The Department of Health and Human Servies says that I should get at least an hour of exerise each day to help keep my body active (6). Generally right after my workout I drink a protein shake, which has to be cleared by the FDA for it to be sold (7). I also buy the protein shakes with money I earn from mowing lawns, the set money value is given by the treasury department (8). Right after this happens I get picked up by my grandmother, who is able to continue her independence for as long as possible by the Administration of Aging (9). She will drop my off at my house and I'll make a dinner of vegetables and some kind of chicken that I find in my fridge. The food is all part of the food pyramid that I follow, the pyramid was made by the US Department of Agriculture (10). Right after dinner I will do my homework, and get ready for my martial arts classes. I drive on the department of transportations roads again to go there (11). After I finish getting kicked around in class for 2 hours, I drive home and shower and clean up. I generally go to sleep than in the home my parents provide for me because Child Protection Services say they have to till I am 18 (I hope they would anyways) (12). The hosue I sleep in is also approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (13). I get up the next day and go to school again because the Department of Education says I have to (14). And while I am living my life, I am kept safe from drugs by the DEA, who make sure kids know how bad drugs are and catch people who deal them (15).
